Supporting Resilience in our Educators in the Wake of Covid-19 and Beyond

Educators have overcome so much in the wake of Covid-19. Learning how to work in uncertain times has become the norm- whether serving students in a virtual environment or navigating in-person instruction – or both- we have embraced new schedules and new methods of teaching to support the needs of our students when they needed us most. However, in putting students first, we sometimes lose sight of our own wellbeing. Join Cuyahoga Community College’s Westshore campus -and a panel of experts- to discuss what we can do this academic year to support resilience in our local educators.

Moderator: Kris Walz, Ed.D., Dean Student Affairs, Cuyahoga Community Colle Westshore Campus

Panelists: Dan Bridgeo, Ph.D Psychologist, Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus; Megan Basel Bay Village City School District, M.Ed, Care Coordinator; Michael Carr, LSW, LPCC-S, Mental Health Navigator, Cleveland Clinic at Lakewood High School
