PlayPosit: Creating Interactive Videos OLATFF1020

PlayPosit is a tool that adds activities/engagement to a video from Mediasite, Youtube, or Vimeo and can be integrated into our Learning Management System. The instructor can pause the video at specific times for a variety of question or discussion options. Question types include multiple choice, check all, free response, fill in the blank, polling, and discussions. Answers can be graded, and some answer types include an option that triggers a jump to another part of the video.

By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Request a PlayPosit license
  • Add PlayPosit links to a Blackboard course
  • Select from the question types available in PlayPosit and create questions
  • Assess student answers in PlayPosit
  • Send PlayPosit grades back to Blackboard
