Latina She Served: Stories of Latina Women in Armed Forces

This panel will explore the experience of being an immigrant woman who joined the military and faced adversity in combat and non-combat situations. Led by Liz Hensel, the panel will discuss how they overcame obstacles, faced racism and sexism, and how the military shaped them to be where they are today. The discussion will be followed by a Q & A.

A meeting link will be emailed to registered participants approximately one hour before the start of the program. Staff will be available for help with technical issues 15 minutes prior to the program. You will need a device with audio and/or video and an internet connection to join.

If you have questions about this program, please contact a librarian at the North Olmsted Branch at 440-777-6211.
