JazzFest Community Concerts: Phillip Jones and David Thomas

FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC. Registration required.

Johnny Parker, a gospel musician and consultant, has teamed up with Tri-C JazzFest and Karamu House to present the first installment of the “Good News Concert Series.” The first show will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021 at the historic Karamu House.

The show will feature the Phillip K. Jones Quartet and Dave Thomas Ensemble. Parker has given each artist complete artistic control to explore the full expanse of their creativity and present music steeped in the traditions of gospel and jazz. Admission is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
