Beyond Basics: Building a Better Blackboard Course—CLE1342

This workshop is designed to equip faculty with tools and techniques to effectively teach in an asynchronous online modality, while also giving them hands-on practice from the student point of view. Strategies learned in this workshop will help veteran faculty to improve their Blackboard course sites, while also helping those new to teaching online to develop their courses using best practices. The course will cover planning, assessment, finding and creating course content, creating interactions, engaging students, building an online course, and accessibility.

This workshop is asynchronous in Blackbaord and will run for three weeks.
