Need to make images, graphs, or tables more accessible in your documents? Are you wanting to improve your AllY score? Alt text is the information that is read by screen readers and is needed in order to meet accessibility requirements for images, graphs, charts, and tables. In this workshop we will cover the basics on how to create alternative descriptions referred to as “alt text,” for images other graphics used in Blackboard Learn, Word documents, and PDFs. Included will be how to mark images as decorative and how to convey both meaning and context for academic images.
