As a result of your participation in this training, you will develop an understanding on First-Year students better by being introduced to effective teaching and learning practices for the GEN-1070 course, including instructional design support and course outcomes. In addition, the training will cover Tri-C resources, the Brightspace course site, Tri-C Grad Plan, library services, etc.

This workshop is for both new and experienced instructors.

Bird banding is the placement of numbered, aluminum bands on their legs. The bands serve as the bird’s ID, helping researchers collect data to study migratory movements, population health, behavior, and lifespan. The station is operated under a federal permit by the USGS.

Bird banding is the placement of numbered, aluminum bands on their legs. The bands serve as the bird’s ID, helping researchers collect data to study migratory movements, population health, behavior, and lifespan. The station is operated under a federal permit by the USGS.

(except when winds are greater than 13 mph and/or rain)*

Bird banding is the placement of numbered, aluminum bands on their legs. The bands serve as the bird’s ID, helping researchers collect data to study migratory movements, population health, behavior, and lifespan. The station is operated under a federal permit by the USGS.

Bird banding is the placement of numbered, aluminum bands on their legs. The bands serve as the bird’s ID, helping researchers collect data to study migratory movements, population health, behavior, and lifespan. The station is operated under a federal permit by the USGS.

Open House 7 – 10 a.m.
(except when winds are greater than 13 mph and/or rain)*

We’re looking for community partners to make it extra sweet! Reserve a spot for a vehicle to pass out candy and information about your business or organization. (Please reserve a space by Oct. 23.)

About the Event:

The Trunk or Treat annually draws between 300 - 500 participants and over 50 vehicles from Tri-C departments, local businesses, organizations and emergency services.

This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages and features a special Touch-a-Truck experience with law enforcement and emergency service vehicles.

Costumes are encouraged, and prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated vehicles, so bring your Halloween spirit and plenty of candy and promotional items!

The event is located in Lot H1, near the Harvard Road entrance. Non partipating vehicles and trick-or-treaters can park in the adjacent Lots B1 and B2.

The Trunk or Treat is a rain or shine event, and will only be cancelled in case of severe weather.

Supporting students’ mental health and well-being

Supporting intellectual diversity through varied pedagogies
