The Rice Experience

A bold and empowering presentation, The Rice Experience uses a dramatic analogy set to music to unlock the power in each of us to leave a legacy of change. Equating one grain of rice to one human life, more than 600 pounds of rice are poured out before the audience shifting perspective as millions of grains pile up representing millions of lives. The Rice Experience shares the story of devastating human loss in the past 100 years due to acts of genocide including the current loss in Darfur and the Congo.

Once someone connects the numbers in actual grains, the loss becomes a motivation to create change and end the hate.

This presentation will discuss acts of violence and genocide. If you find the information too intense, or have been personally impacted by violence, you are always welcome to step outside during the presentation.

This event is FREE and open to the public. No registration is necessary.
