Safe Zone Ally Training (Jerry Sue Thornton Center)

A Safe Zone is a space in which everyone is respected and heard, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression. In this interactive training session, participants will learn about vocabulary; LGBTQ+ research and data supporting the need for Safe Zones; integrating information related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression into curriculum; College and community resources; and how to discuss LGBTQ+ topics with others.
