Hugues Leclère was born in France in 1968. He perfected his playing with Catherine Collard and entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris being the first nominated of the competitive entrance examination. He graduated with high honors in piano, music theory, and chamber music.
As outstanding performer of Debussy, Ravel and their contemporaries, Hugues Leclère confirms his full maturity with German repertoire (Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms...), in recital or chamber music concerts. He gave concerts with Augustin Dumay, the Berliner Philharmoniker Streichquintett, the Paris Orchestra Soloists, Talich quartet, Modigliani quartet, Debussy quartet, Ludwig quartet.
