Conference on Confronting Poverty Among College Students

The Third Annual Conference, as in years past, focuses on Under-Resourced College Students, and seeks to bring people together to discuss the issues related to college students who are derailed by poverty or near-poverty. We hope these conversations will help inform practices that will empower more college students realize their ambitions and help colleges better support their students.

We are inviting scholars, educators, social service providers and community leaders in Northern Ohio, and the greater region, to share their ideas about poverty and near poverty as it affects college students’ persistence, completion, and career attainments. Presentations will be grouped into breakout sessions based on topic.

The conference will feature locally and nationally renowned speakers who will deliver keynote addresses in the morning and afternoon.
