A Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)
is a milestone document in the history of human
rights. Drafted by representatives with different
legal and cultural backgrounds from all regions of
the world, the UDHR was proclaimed by the United
Nations General Assembly on Dec. 10, 1948.
Join us as Keisha Lewis of the National Center for
Civil and Human Rights discusses Articles 1, 3,
5, 7 and 18 of the UDHR. A panel discussion with
questions and answer session will follow.
